Owl City - Fireflies

I recently search for the meaning of this song. I'm just curious because : I've been listening to this song for the past 3 years, and doesn't have any idea what the meaning of the song-_-.

And this is what I got :

 "I believe it's about not wanting to grow up. Like you wake up one day and think, 'holy cow, I'm old'.
I few weeks ago I turned 15 and started high school, and I woke up a few days ago and thought "God... what happened? I'm so old". And, I mean, I want to grow up, but I'm really kind of scared to.

This has two meanings for me though.The first one, means that the world does move slowly, but you can't believe it because time goes by so fast. And the second one, is about my sister leaving for college. I can't believe that's she's gone. It seems like yesterday she was my age.

I think this is saying like, that he wants to go back to his childhood.

I think that this means he would rather sleep because he can't believe his childhood is over, but at the same time he's hoping for a tomorrow so he can follow his dreams"
